Anila Hetoja Shines at Kosovo Art Exhibition
Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness

The artist Anila Hetoja shared her impressions of the powerful art exhibition held in Gjilan, Kosovo. Representing Albania alongside another artist, Hetoja highlighted the shared goal of all participants: to deliver a meaningful message about life. “Life is beautiful; it comes once, and we must live it,” she said.
The exhibition, meticulously organized by artist Jalldez Myftari, brought together artists around a unified theme. This event also coincided with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, symbolized by the color pink. Hetoja emphasized the importance of year-round awareness, advocating early detection and preventive care for breast cancer. Her poignant message, “Love yourself and always take care of your health,” was reinforced through her artwork, which celebrates the continuity and beauty of life.

Not only does she meticulously plan each interior design project from concept to completion, but she also infuses her artwork—vibrant paintings that reflect her personal emotions and creativity—into every project. This unique blend of skills has earned Hetoja an esteemed reputation both in Albania and internationally.

The elements I use in most interior design projects are bright colors, lighting, balance, harmony, and contrast, with details that always make a difference,” she explains. Each artwork within a project, she says, is “like my creatures, brought to life by my emotions.

Known for her signature style, Hetoja prioritizes the use of bright, cheerful colors, natural lighting, and carefully balanced elements that elevate any environment. Her ability to incorporate her art into these designs makes each space distinctly her own.
With over a decade of dedication to her craft, Hetoja has built a refined portfolio, establishing Hetoja Designer Consulting in 2012 after studying at Toronto’s RCC Institute of Technology.
Since then, she has opened exhibitions in cities like Tirana, Shkodër, and even Germany and Canada, while continuing to oversee a steady flow of projects that showcase her distinct approach.

Hetoja described the exhibition as a profound and inspiring journey. “It was a special pleasure to be part of this visual art exhibition among many artist friends from Kosovo,” she shared. “The event proved to be a beautiful and memorable experience, and I hope it will be followed by many more in the future. Art truly serves as a bridge that connects states and people.”
The event not only celebrated the artistic talents of the region but also highlighted the importance of cultural diplomacy. The showcased pieces told stories of heritage, identity, and the collective spirit of the Kosovo-Albanian community, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
