All the Fashion, Outfits, and Looks at the Golden Globes 2024

Awards season officially began last night with a star-studded gathering at the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards on January 7, 2024 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California

Celebrities streamed onto the lush red carpet to pose in front of the floral backdrop for the Golden Globes on Sunday night as the awards ceremony made a return to television (it wasn’t broadcast in 2022, and was moved to a Tuesday evening last year).

With both the Writer’s Guild and SAG-AFTRA strikes halting movie and television promotion for months last year, the industry seemed ready to celebrate its achievements and ask the vital questions: Will the box office bonanza “Barbie” rule the awards season? What will Timothee wear? Will Taylor Swift, whose film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” was nominated in the new category (one of two — the other being for stand-up comedy) for blockbuster films, show up?

With films like Air, American Fiction, Barbie, The Holdovers, May December, Poor Things, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, Oppenheimer, Past Lives, and The Zone of Interest, and television including Succession, The Bear, The Crown, and Only Murders in the Building all earning nominations, the evening was a buzz with casts, crews, and more stepping out to celebrate and support their projects.

But while only a select few were honored for their work in film and television over the course of the last year, a new class of winners was born on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday. Here, a variety of looks offered their own kind of performance, from referencing bygone days by breathing new life into vintage and archival pieces, to wearing custom designs tailored to perfection, reminding us all of the power of glamour to transform on and off the big (and small) screen.
