Kate Moss Channels ’90s Glam in Zara Debut
It’s ’90s minimalism with a hint of late ’80s glamour.
This year, Christmas came early with Kate Moss teaming up with stylist Katy England to launch a stunning 40-piece capsule collection for Zara. Featuring ready-to-wear pieces, accessories, and shoes, the collection brings back some of Moss’s most iconic looks in a fresh, modern way. The 40-piece collab comprises vintage-inspired beaded dresses, lace-up velvet pants, sequin-embellished bralettes, faux leather jackets, silk scarf tops and more.
Let’s face it: no era of fashion feels as timeless as the ’90s, and Moss’s signature style defined the decade. Effortlessly cool, with sleek minimalism and a touch of bohemian glam, her looks remain as iconic now as they were then.
“We went to my archive, which was crazy because I hadn’t been there in so long,” Moss shared with WHOMAN magazine via email. “There was the dress from my 19th birthday party, with the shoes I would’ve worn that night. It was so nice rediscovering so many old pieces.” One standout rediscovery is a sheer black dress that continues to capture attention decades later.

In addition to the minimalist ’90s vibe, the collection sprinkles in some late-’80s glam. Think twirl-worthy, sheer rock ‘n’ roll cape dresses and sequined bralettes ready for the dance floor. “Back in the day, I would have also done the little black sequin dress,” says Moss. “And I love the chiffon, too.”
This collection is a nostalgic nod to supermodel chic, reimagined for today.
