Could you share how your family background has shaped your career as an immigration consultant and influenced your approach to your work?

My family has always been the foundation of who I am, both personally and professionally. As the daughter and granddaughter of Italian immigrants, I grew up hearing stories of resilience, sacrifice, and hope—stories not just about moving to a new country, but about the pursuit of a better life. Their courage in starting over in a foreign land has always inspired me.

I’ve seen firsthand that immigration is more than just a legal process. For my family, it was about embracing new opportunities and finding transformation through a new home, while still holding onto the traditions that mattered most. This personal experience gave me deep empathy for the immigrant community and ignited my passion for helping others navigate this same journey.

As I’ve worked with clients over the years, I’ve realized that immigration isn’t just about completing paperwork—it’s about people’s lives, their dreams, and their futures. Every case I handle is more than just filling out forms; it’s about giving a family the chance to build a new life. My family’s story continues to guide my work, reminding me that immigration is not only about crossing borders but about the connections we make and the lasting legacies we create.

How do you manage the delicate balance between your professional responsibilities, family life, and personal relationships?

Balancing my professional responsibilities with family life and personal relationships is something I prioritize daily, though it certainly has its challenges. Our firm operates 24/7 to meet the needs of clients across multiple time zones, which requires flexibility and focus. Despite this, my family is my anchor. My husband, our brilliant sons, and our cherished dog, Charlie, provide me with unwavering support and the strength I need to navigate both worlds.

I’ve learned to be fully present in each space—whether at work or at home. It’s not just about how much time I spend, but about making the most of the time I do have. The love and inspiration I receive from my family fuel my passion for my work, and my work, in turn, fuels me to give my best at home.

While it can be challenging, I see the intersection of my career and family life as enriching, not competing. My husband and I have been together for 24 years, and our partnership, built on mutual respect and support, keeps me grounded. Together, we’ve experienced both triumphs and challenges, and those experiences have taught me the true value of family and teamwork—lessons I carry with me into both my professional life and my role as a mother.

I strive to be a mentor to my children, teaching them that with determination, resilience, and the right support, they can achieve their dreams, no matter the obstacles. These values motivate me every day, as I continue to build a future for both my family and my clients.

I also believe that age is just a number. “Age is merely the number of years the world has been enjoying you. The real question is how well you’ve lived those years.” It’s not about the number of years but about how we live each one. Some of my closest friends inspire me every day with their energy, wisdom, and resilience. Their example shows me that it’s never too late to pursue new goals or find new purpose, and their encouragement drives me to continue challenging myself.

My mother has always been my pillar of strength. She gave me the wings to fly and pursue my passions, even when the road was tough. Though my work demands long hours, and it’s hard to see her as much as I would like, she understands and supports both me and my family. Her belief in me empowers me to keep going, and she’s a constant reminder of the importance of resilience, love, and a supportive presence in life.

How has your family’s story and experiences influenced your perspective on immigration and your approach to helping others navigate the process?

My family’s journey has profoundly shaped my perspective on immigration. As children of immigrants, we understand the challenges that come with starting fresh in a new country—navigating the legal system, learning a new language, and building a life from the ground up. I’ve witnessed the sacrifices my parents made to create a better future for us, and those lessons have stayed with me throughout my career.
To me, immigration is not just a legal process; it’s deeply personal. Every case I handle represents more than just filling out forms—it’s about a family’s journey, their hopes, and their dreams. My family’s story fuels my passion for supporting others through this journey. It’s not about the paperwork; it’s about making sure people feel heard, supported, and empowered.
I am driven by a desire to offer others the same hope, guidance, and support that helped my family thrive. Every time I assist a client, I am reminded that this process is about helping families realize their dreams and build the futures they deserve. This deeply rooted empathy guides me in my work every day and is why I am so committed to making the immigration process as smooth and empowering as possible
